Biography
Lorraine is an Associate Director in our London Risk Assurance team and is responsible for developing the risk and regulation proposition and delivering client engagements.
Lorraine has more than 25 years’ experience, particularly in the financial services sector, with a focus on secured and unsecured consumer finance, and general insurance. She has carried out various senior operations and compliance roles within FCA regulated firms.
As a regulatory consultant, she has worked with a range of clients, from start-ups and fast-growing private sector firms to larger, listed entities. Her consultancy experience has exposed her to a wide range of complex business challenges, which she translates into tangible solutions for her clients. Her expertise is focused on governance and culture, risk management frameworks, systems and controls, training and competency, and monitoring and oversight.
When asked why she enjoys her role, Lorraine says
"I am a passionate advocate of the importance of organisational culture in delivering effective conduct risk management within financial institutions."
Outside of work, Lorraine enjoys being active and taking on new challenges. Most recently she has taken up skiing and open water swimming.
