Audit exists to serve the public interest. When we sign an audit opinion, our work helps investors, lenders, businesses and other stakeholders make informed decisions. That responsibility shapes everything we do, from how we develop our people and strengthen audit quality to how we invest in technology and governance.

Our audit practice grew 11% this year. As we continue to evolve, we're investing in the capabilities that matter most: training, people, technology. Quality doesn't scale on its own, we resourced it on purpose.

Good audit is sceptical by design. Combining professional judgement and healthy scepticism remains at the heart of our approach. And we've paired that scepticism with technology that sharpens judgement rather than replacing it.

Independent challenge and accountability

We don't mark our own homework. Our Audit Oversight Board brings independent challenge to how we work and provides oversight and constructive challenge to help ensure we remain focused on audit quality, accountability and acting in the public interest.

The long view
