Biography

Laura brings over fifteen years of experience working in the NHS and Health and Social Care system and in Healthcare Consulting. She specialises in research and evaluation of projects and programmes, helping healthcare clients to quantify impact and enhance the effectiveness of programmes for service users, staff and the wider system. Her areas of interest include: healthcare workforce, integrated care and healthcare strategy and transformation. She works between Belfast, Cambridge and London, working for clients across the UK.

Laura leads a number of longitudinal evaluations of healthcare workforce reform initiatives for Health Education England, including: the evaluation of the Supported Return to Training Programme; the evaluation of the Less Than Full Time Training Category 3 Expansion Pilot; and a review of Neonatal Qualified in Specialty Training. She leads the evaluation of Primary Care Multi-Disciplinary Teams for the Department of Health in Northern Ireland, and the Evaluation of the Social Care Digital Programme on behalf of the Local Government Association and NHS Digital.

Prior to working at RSM, Laura worked in a Big 4 consultancy across their Healthcare Industries team, and started as an NHS Graduate Management Trainee, having worked in three of the five HSC Trusts in Northern Ireland.
