About Rob Pullen

Rob Pullen is a partner in our private client tax team, working with high-net-worth individuals, families, entrepreneurs and business owners.

His expertise spans the spectrum of owner-managed business needs, from pre-sale business structuring and post-sale liquidity planning, to establishing family vehicles such as trusts, partnerships or companies.

Rob advises on international tax, including residence and domicile taxation, arriving in or leaving the UK and the review of international structures.

He also specialises in capital tax planning, including inheritance tax.

Rob’s approach to advising clients is to take a step back from the detail to understand the bigger picture and what his clients are trying to achieve. Rather than answering a narrow question, this allows him to have a better view of the context and how this particular challenge or opportunity can be used to help achieve a client’s long-term goals.

Upon leaving university, Rob joined a Big Four private client tax team in London, where he completed his Chartered Tax Adviser and Association of Taxation qualifications, focussing on private clients.

He then spent a brief period with a regional practice, before returning to a London firm in 2014 where he became a partner in 2018.

‘Each client or family is unique – the tax structuring solutions should be equally tailored.’

Rob has a busy family life, with very active children and a bouncy cocker spaniel. He lives in the Sussex countryside which allows plenty of opportunity for sports, including tennis, hockey, cycling and walking.
