About Paul Minness

Based in Birmingham, Paul Minness is the Lead Transfer Pricing Partner at RSM UK. He has over 25 years’ experience supporting clients, ranging from new start-ups to FTSE100 businesses.

Paul helps clients navigate complex global transfer pricing rules and provides pragmatic advice to ensure their supply chains remain compliant.

Through a holistic approach that treats transfer pricing as a live business challenge, Paul also works closely with colleagues across fields like indirect tax, customs duties and employee taxes to help clients achieve optimum outcomes.

Before joining RSM in 2020, Paul spent 20 years providing transfer pricing support while at Big 4 firms. He has experience working with clients in fields including industrial products, retail, technology, automotive, and professional services, among others.

Throughout his career, he has worked across the entire transfer pricing lifecycle including policy design, documentation, implementation and controversy. He also has extensive experience in supporting thin capitalisation position, either through documentation or by agreeing Advanced Thin Capitalisation Agreements.

Paul is a chartered accountant and a member of the ICAEW.

Outside of work, Paul enjoys spending quality time with his family, often on the archery field or supporting Nottingham Panthers ice hockey team.
