About Ed Dinsmore

Ed Dinsmore is a Corporate Tax Director who specialises in helping large and listed businesses manage complex UK and international tax requirements. He leads corporate tax compliance and advisory relationships, combining technical expertise with a practical understanding of clients’ commercial priorities and risk.

Ed’s focus is always on understanding what matters to his clients and their businesses. He is constantly thinking about the challenges and opportunities ahead to ensure he can mobilise the wider RSM team support to clients’ needs.

Ed started his career with PwC, predominantly advising large, listed organisations. His expertise has been further bolstered by several years in a FTSE 100 group in a special projects advisory role. He brings a unique blend of tax advisory experience with real empathy for the challenges faced by those working in-house.

“Having spent time in-house, I understand how difficult it can be to take complex tax advice and simplify this for wider stakeholders. Helping clients understand both the tax technical and the practical aspects of our advice is a key priority for me.”

Outside of work, Ed can be found chasing after his two young daughters. When parenting duty finishes, he likes to squeeze in some sports - tennis, golf or anything that involves a ball!
