RSM’s M&A and private equity team has advised on the sale of Adatis Group Limited, a leading independent Data Analytics consultancy and Microsoft specialist, to Incremental Group.

The client

Founded 16 years ago, Adatis has grown to become one of the largest Microsoft specialists in the UK, with offices in England, Bulgaria and India. The company provides advanced data analytics consulting, delivery and managed services to large, high-profile clients across both the private and public sectors.

Having been approached by a number of interested parties early in 2021, the founders selected Incremental as their preferred partner. The acquisition by Incremental, a private-equity backed provider of digital transformation services and specialists in Microsoft Dynamics, marks its second deal of the year. The combined group will strengthen its position as one of the leaders in Microsoft data consultancy and digital enterprise.

RSM's Solution

As a long-standing client of RSM, the M&A team supported the founders from initial discussions with interested parties, running a discreet competitive process to identify the best home for the business, negotiating offers and project managing the deal through to completion. RSM also provided transaction tax advice.
