Career conversations

Every young person deserves someone who believes in their potential. The conversations we have about careers can spark ambition and build confidence. They can open doors to opportunities they may never have considered. Whether it's discussing strengths or exploring work experience opportunities, these moments can help a young person see what is possible.

Our programmes

RSM's school leaver programmes offer paid, full-time roles combined with structured study and professional training. Students joining out programmes earn a salary, study through our professional training programmes and get support from a mentor and their team throughout. They will split their time between the office, client sites and college.

Depending on the programme, they'll work towards internationally recognised qualifications.

To apply for a school leaver programme, school and college leavers will need the right to work in the UK and one of the following:

Students don’t need to have studied an accounting, finance or business qualification to be considered for our programmes. In fact, we encourage students to apply from all walks of life and course disciplines to apply.

From day one, you'll be supported to grow your skills, build your experience and develop your career. Most students join us as Assistants and progress through a structured career pathway as they gain practical experience and work towards their professional qualification.

Progression looks different for everyone. The pace and opportunities available will vary depending on your programme, performance and career goals, but you'll receive regular support, feedback and development opportunities to help you reach your potential.

Explore what we can offer to prospective graduates
