Leaving school or college is a big step and it's fine not to have it all worked out. Our school leaver programmes give you a real job, real training and a recognised qualification, without the cost of university. You'll be supported every step of the way by mentors, your team and others starting out just like you.
You don't need to know it all yet
Most of our school leavers don't know exactly what they want to do when they apply. That's completely normal. What matters is curiosity, willingness to learn and a positive attitude.
What to expect
You'll work and study alongside your cohort, our graduates and wider project teams. From your first weeks you'll get stuck into real client work, supported by training sessions throughout. How much time you spend studying depends on the qualification you're working towards. It’ll be challenging, but the more you put in, the more you’ll get out.
You'll belong from day one
Before you start, we'll invite you to events, online and in person, so you can meet your cohort and arrive already knowing people.
Audit is about checking that an organisation's financial information is accurate and can be trusted, which keeps the whole economy honest. You'll work alongside experts to assess risk and analyse performance, while studying towards a chartered accountancy qualification.
Tax is about people, not just numbers. You'll help individuals and businesses understand their goals and make sure tax never gets in the way of reaching them. It's a fast-moving field that keeps you and your clients ahead.
Consulting is about solving the problems that keep business leaders up at night, whether that's a major change, a financial challenge or a risk they haven't planned for. You'll turn data into insight, work as one team and shape a career that's genuinely your own.
Digital at RSM isn't one thing, it's data analytics, software development, AI, automation, cloud technology and more. From day one, you'll work on real projects alongside experienced colleagues, not just learning how things are done, but actively contributing to how they're done better.
