Matt Wilson

Biography

Matt works with clients to prevent fraud, through ensuring adequate fraud prevention and training programs are in place and investigating the aftermath to identify the offenders where possible and reduce the risk of it happening again. As well as working with corporate and international clients, he works across a number of sectors including healthcare, charities and housing associations. 
Matt has a Masters from the Institute of Criminal Justice Studies, is an Accredited Counter Fraud Specialist (ACFS) and Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE).

Matt was a police officer for nearly twelve years, working as a Detective and Financial investigator for a county force and then within a Regional Organised Crime Unit. He has experience of investigating large scale complex frauds.

Matt is a keen runner, having completed a handful of marathons and around 35 half marathons. He is now working his way through the A-Z of Parkrun. Outside of this, he is kept busy by his two daughters and two Romanian rescue dogs.
