About Lynsey Cooper
Lynsey Cooper is a corporate tax partner at RSM UK, with over 20 years’ experience working with large international businesses across the south of England. Lynsey helps her clients to navigate the ever-changing tax landscape. As well as advising on the increasing compliance obligations that are placed on businesses, her varied role includes advising on international structuring, financing, cash repatriation, tax strategy and HMRC enquiries.
Prior to joining RSM, Lynsey worked for both Deloitte and PwC working primarily with large inbound and listed clients across various sectors and industries. She is both a Chartered Tax Advisor and a member of the ICAEW. Before entering the tax profession, Lynsey obtained a first class degree in Business Management and Finance.
Lynsey is passionate about making tax fun! It doesn’t matter whether you’re a client or an adviser – we all spend a large chunk of our time at work. It’s important to make sure that you find a way to make it enjoyable.

Away from the office, Lynsey can often be found at the side of a football pitch with her son or in the dance studio with her two daughters. She also enjoys spending time with family and friends, practising yoga and baking. She claims that her Bakewell Tart is her signature dish … though she’s not ready to apply for The Great British Bake Off yet…!
