Biography
Ross is a corporate tax partner in our London office and is also a member of our board. With over 30 years’ experience of UK and international tax, he maintains a commercial/hands on approach to his fiscal advice and a reputation for delivering value-added solutions and practical implementation advice.
Ross has significant exposure to regulated financial services clients (including dealers, brokers, asset and investment management, insurance), technology and the rapidly growing Fintech sector. He has provided structuring and transactional advice on the full range of corporate activities including, M&A, reorganisations and restructuring, for a large number of clients from FTSE/international to SME businesses.
Ross advises a mix of financial services and technology businesses, which includes significant experience in the Fintech sector, where financial services overlaps with technology. He also has a strong record of successful R&D tax claims.
Ross was originally a tax partner with Andersen and more recently BDO, prior to joining RSM in March 2016.
