About Rosemary Ford
Rosemary Ford is a Partner in RSM’s Forensic team, specialising in forensic accounting investigations. She has over 16 years’ experience delivering complex and sensitive matters across the public and private sectors, including issues involving financial misconduct, accounting irregularities, suspected fraud and bribery, whistleblowing allegations, cash and asset tracing, and contentious insolvencies.
She works closely with boards, senior management and advisers to help uncover what has happened, why it happened and what to do next. She supports clients to assess the associated financial, regulatory and reputational risks, and to prepare for and respond effectively to regulatory and other external enquiries, bringing clarity and pragmatism to challenging situations. She has led engagements across the UK and internationally, working with clients across sectors including financial services, oil and gas, retail and the public sector.
She is a Chartered Accountant with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland. Prior to joining RSM, she built her career across professional services and the public sector, including roles at Deloitte, the Serious Fraud Office and the Financial Conduct Authority.
At the Serious Fraud Office and Financial Conduct Authority, she undertook regulatory and criminal investigations into fraud, financial crime, money laundering and market misconduct, including complex multi jurisdictional matters. She spent seven years in Deloitte’s Forensic & Financial Crime practice, advising clients on a wide range of forensic matters and working closely with boards, risk and compliance teams, and legal advisers to design and deliver effective investigation strategies.
"I love helping clients understand the story behind the numbers — uncovering the who, the how and the why. Throughout my career, I’ve been drawn to roles where I can bring clarity to complex situations and work closely with clients and their advisers during challenging moments. RSM’s collaborative culture and focus on pragmatic advice resonate strongly with me, including the use of data and technology to deliver insight efficiently and effectively."
Outside work, she is a keen foodie and enjoys cooking and discovering new restaurants. She combines that with an interest in travel, exploring new places and spending time with family and friends.
