About Neil Mellor
Neil Mellor is a partner in the audit, assurance and advisory team in Reading. He has over 20 years’ experience advising businesses across a wide range of sectors, including technology, retail, manufacturing and transport and logistics. Neil works with a range of clients from small start-ups and owner-managed businesses to larger mid-tier companies and multinational groups. Neil also works with a number of private equity backed businesses at various stages of the investment cycle.
Prior to joining RSM Neil worked at PwC for many years, including four years as an RI. He gained a significant breadth of experience across different disciplines, including corporate tax and corporate finance. Neil is an FCA member of the ICAEW.
When asked what gets him out of bed in the morning, Neil says;
"I’m passionate about delivering the best service I can to my clients. I want to understand my client’s challenges and priorities and ensure we work together to get to the right answer."
Outside work, Neil is kept busy by his two children – primarily as a part time taxi driver going between various sporting clubs. He also enjoys golf and walking in the local Chiltern area.
