About Mark Colling

Mark Colling specialises in selling companies to both corporate and private equity buyers, as well as advising on management buyouts and acquisitions. He has worked across a wide variety of sectors, with a focus on logistics and passenger transport.

Mark has two sport-mad boys and is a keen golfer, although he doesn’t get to watch Plymouth Argyle live as much as he once did. Mark is still trying to work out how he ended up running youth cricket teams despite having precisely zero practical experience to draw on!

Mark says, "I enjoy working with owner managers to help them realise the value of their hard work. I love helping management buyout teams set out on that journey."

  • 1994: joined RSM predecessor firm in an accounting and audit role
  • 1997: founding member of the corporate finance department
  • 2014: transferred to the M&A team
  • 2021: promoted to Director
