About Kate Aitchison
Kate leads the Private Client team in RSM’s Manchester office. She has a wealth of experience advising individuals, trusts and families, often with business or shareholder interests. Kate can provide advice across a range of tax issues including family succession, business restructuring, sale support and transactions, inheritance tax and residence issues. She is a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation and the Association of Tax Technicians
Kate trained at KPMG and has worked with mid-market clients for nearly 15 years. She has worked with a varied client base across several different industries.
Kate’s approach is to focus on building a strong relationship with all of her clients so that she fully understands all aspects of what is important to them and can then provide bespoke advice.
Outside of work, Kate is a bit of a late convert to exercise and can be found regularly training at the gym and competing inHyrox races.
Kate's RSM timeline:
- 2024: Promoted to Partner
- 2023: transferred to the Manchester office
- 2021: Promoted to Director
- 2020: Joined RSM as an Associate Director in the Leeds office
