About George Fieldhouse
George is a partner in debt advisory helping clients to secure the right funding to support growth, acquisitions and strategic change. His experience spans growth capital, acquisition financing, refinancing for maturity or expansion and raising finance for bolt on acquisitions.
He also advises organisations preparing for a private equity sale, supports refinancing to enable dividends and leads lender education processes, including providing support in shaping and presenting their story to the lending market.
Bringing a collaborative approach and a deep understanding of the funding landscape, George works closely with banks, debt funds and asset based lenders to achieve the best outcomes for clients. He specialises in supporting privately owned companies, management teams and shareholders, including private equity, across all sectors.
George brings extensive experience in debt advisory. As a former partner at Grant Thornton, he led and grew their corporate finance debt advisory practice, including shaping its strategic direction and identifying key markets and clients. His previous roles also include working in Deloitte’s debt and capital advisory team, where he specialised in private equity, along with positions at DC Advisory and PwC.
He has a proven track record of helping borrowers identify, negotiate and secure the right finance solutions, navigate complex stakeholder dynamics and move confidently through periods of growth and change.

Originally from the North West of England, George now lives in Hertfordshire with his wife and young daughter. Away from work, he spends time walking his dog and enjoys getting out on his bike.
