About Chris Sliman
Chris Sliman is a Director in RSM's Audit practice and an Audit RI, based in Edinburgh. He works with a diverse portfolio of clients, with a particular focus on technology & media and healthcare businesses, supporting them through periods of growth, investment and change.
Chris is known for building trusted adviser relationships and helping clients achieve their ambitions through high-quality audit and assurance services. Alongside his client responsibilities, he plays an active role in developing future leaders and driving strategic initiatives across the firm, combining technical expertise with a strong commercial mindset.
Chris trained and qualified at RSM with ICAS as a CA.

Chris has travelled all over the world, visiting every continent except Antarctica. In a previous life, he was into extreme activities including skydiving, bungee jumping and cave diving.
Nowadays, when he is not auditing, he can usually be found spending a questionable amount of money on Lego or enjoying a well-made Old Fashioned.

- 2011: Joined RSM as a graduate.
- 2015: Secondment to RSM US in Boston, US.
- 2017: Promoted to Manager.
- 2019: Promoted to Senior Manager.
- 2024: Gained Audit RI status.
- 2025: Joined RSMI global inspection team.
- 2026: Joined RSM Foundation as a Trustee.
- 2026: Promoted to Director.
