Charlie leads the employment legal team at RSM UK and has over 15 years’ experience advising employers on a broad range of employment law issues. Charlie specialises in employment status and pay governance issues such as NMW, holiday pay, pension auto-enrolment and equal pay with a particular focus in the leisure and hospitality, healthcare, tech media and telecoms sectors.
Charlie came to RSM from a leading national law firm, where he worked with employers, solving their day-to-day employment law issues.
Charlie is a regular presenter and writer on employment legal developments and is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association and The Law Society.
When asked why he enjoys his role, Charlie said:
‘Our role as professional advisers is to identify the critical issues impacting our clients and help them find practical solutions to keep their growth and strategic plans on track. I find that hugely rewarding. I love the challenge of building our legal services offering, and the great satisfaction that comes with developing the talented people within our team.’
Charlie enjoys spending time with his family, ferrying his sons to football, dodgeball and swimming and when time allows, getting in a few games of cricket.
