About Caroline Le Jeune

Caroline Le Jeune is an experienced Private Client Tax Partner based in London. Her clients seek advice in relation to private trading, investment businesses, succession planning and international private client matters, including offshore and onshore trusts. Many of her clients are family offices.

Caroline's expertise include tax planning, non-UK domicile, offshore and onshore trusts, individual cross-border and residency issues, as well as inheritance and succession planning. This includes planning for family businesses and the use of family investment vehicles such as family investment companies and partnerships.

Her expertise and experience enable Caroline to help families resolve disputes and address intergenerational challenges. By combining her understanding of common unspoken issues with her knowledge of individual family dynamics, she provides a solution that suits the client and offers flexibility for the future.

Caroline previously headed Blick Rothenberg’s private client tax practice for over 10 years and was also Head of Tax. Prior to this, she was a partner at BDO, where she led their trusts and estates practice.

Caroline originally qualified as a solicitor (now non-practising) and as a chartered tax adviser, which allowed her to draw on her extensive knowledge to provide integrated tax advice.

"It’s important to understand what the client is really looking to achieve and take a holistic approach in providing the right solution. Some decisions are driven by relationships, rather than finance or tax, and finding a plan that combines both is key."

Caroline lives in Surrey with her two teenage daughters and their family pets, which include ducks and cats. She loves the UK countryside, where she enjoys walking and birdwatching with her daughters.
