About Caroline Le Jeune

Caroline Le Jeune is an experienced private client tax Partner based in London. Her area of expertise is UK-connected clients with complex tax affairs. She advises on tax planning, non-UK domicile, offshore and onshore trusts, individual cross-border and residency issues, as well as inheritance and succession planning.

Caroline specialises in helping families resolve disputes and address intergenerational challenges. By combining her understanding of common unspoken issues with her knowledge of individual family dynamics, she provides a solution or structure that suits the client and offers flexibility for the future.

Investing time in getting to know clients and understanding what will really work for them is fundamental to the advice she delivers.

Caroline previously headed Blick Rothenberg’s private client tax practice for over 10 years and was also Head of Tax. Prior to this, she was a Partner at BDO, where she led their trusts and estates practice.

Caroline originally qualified as a Solicitor (now non-practising) and as a Chartered Tax Adviser, which allowed her to draw on her extensive knowledge to provide integrated tax advice.

"It is important to understand what the client is really looking to achieve and then take a holistic approach to providing the right solution. Some decisions are driven by relationships, rather than finance or tax, and finding a plan which combines these factors is key."

Caroline lives in Surrey with her two teenage daughters and their family pets, which include ducks and cats. She loves the UK countryside, where she enjoys walking and birdwatching with her daughters.
