RSM UK strengthens tax practice in Scotland

Leading audit, tax and consulting firm RSM UK has appointed a new associate director to strengthen its tax practice in Scotland. 

Tony Cochrane has been appointed associate director in the firm’s Glasgow office, working in the tax team. Tony is a VAT specialist with more than 15 years’ experience, and has worked in various tax roles for professional services organisations including PwC and EY. 

He joins RSM from Johnston Carmichael, where he spent four years as senior VAT manager, developing new and existing client relationships in sectors such as real estate and construction, logistics and retail. As associate director, he is responsible for supporting RSM’s ambitious regional and national growth targets across Scotland, the North of England and Northern Ireland. 

In addition, newly appointed tax managers Suzanne Yule (Aberdeen), and Kerry MacBeth (Edinburgh), will help deliver the firm’s regional and national ambitions.
