Leading audit, tax and consulting firm RSM UK has announced 31 new promotions to director, with over half of this year’s cohort starting their careers with RSM as trainees – demonstrating the firm’s ongoing commitment to grow and develop its people from within its own ranks.
The promotions span all areas of the firm, with audit promoting 12 directors, seven in tax and 12 in consulting. The newly promoted directors are located throughout the UK across 15 offices, from Edinburgh to Southampton.
In addition, almost 700 promotions have been awarded across the firm into roles to help drive growth and investment in existing talent, as RSM aims to become a first-choice employer of skilled professionals, and a leading adviser to middle market firms globally.
Rob Donaldson, CEO at RSM UK comments: “We are committed to providing the right environment for our people to seize the personal opportunity to develop and grow with us; so, it’s great to see so many former trainees reaching director level this year.
“Market headwinds continue to evolve presenting both opportunities, challenges and risk for our clients, but this group of talented directors from all aspects of our business are well positioned to support and drive growth for our clients, and our firm.”
Dan Thompson, People Partner at RSM UK added: “Each promotion celebrates the contribution and talent of our people who are making a real impact in their new roles. We are also celebrating hundreds of internal promotions across the firm, demonstrating a rich pipeline of talent and we’re building a future where opportunity and growth are accessible to all.”
