RSM’s Deal Services team has successfully advised the shareholders of The Hollies, a luxury care home community, on its sale to a leading REIT, with Care UK taking over leadership and management of the homes.

The client

The Hollies is a luxury care home community based in Dursley, Gloucestershire, which includes the Hollies Nursing Care Home, Holly Oak Dementia Care Home, and The Woodlands Apartments. The two homes consist of 104 rooms and 11 luxury independent living apartments, to support residents with a variety of needs, providing the highest level of nursing, respite and end-of-life care, as well as extensive care from the early stages through to the later stages of dementia.

Care UK has over 40 years’ experience of providing award-winning, high-quality care for elderly people. Care UK now operates 165 homes across England, Scotland and Wales and has the highest care quality rating of all large providers in the country
