Business Leaders’ Special Event - COP26 and the climate economy: In Review

Business leaders constantly deal with challenges on both a micro and macro scale. Among other current challenges, climate change is now on the agenda for most businesses. The climate crisis has far reaching implications, from the health and livelihoods of global populations, through to lasting effects on the political and economic landscape, both domestic and international.

Between 31 October – 12 November, the UK hosted the 26th UN climate change Conference of the Parties (COP26) and the world waited to see what global governments and leaders would commit to in the fight against climate change.

Our 2021 Business Leaders’ special event reviewed the outcomes from COP26, explored the key ESG and climate change issues facing business leaders and reflected on geopolitical and economic trends that will impact businesses in the months to come.
