Pension manager forum

Welcome to our Pension Manager Forum (PMF), a network of members made up of pension managers of UK pension schemes of different shapes and sizes.

Our forum allows our members to connect with likeminded peers and discuss what’s going on in the industry, in a safe space. We listen to what our members need and expand on the areas at the top of their agenda. All discussions are held under Chatham House rules.

Recent discussions have included the below topics:

  • Diversity and inclusion
  • Communications
  • GMP
  • Dashboards
  • TCFD

We hold (mainly) virtual sessions every six weeks or so, with the opportunity to attend those sessions which you feel are most valuable.

Here’s what our attendees have said about Pension Manager Forums:

'I found it a very useful way to catch up with other pensions manager to get different views on topical pension matters and swop ideas. Being a virtual session made it much easier to fit into the diary too.'
UK Pensions Manager, GSK Pension Scheme

'Good use of a couple of hours to look at pension topics in a more in-depth way between managers.'
Adrian Furnell, Secretary to Trustees, at Uniper Group of the Electricity Supply Pension Scheme

'RSM does a great job in bringing pensions professionals together via its PMF. The opportunity to ask questions in a friendly environment and exchange practical ideas is invaluable. Against a backdrop of information overload, the PMF is a refreshing space in which you can't fail to pick up practical nuggets from advisers and peers in the pensions industry.'
Maria Vitiello-Lewis, Operations & Governance Manager, Premier Foods Pension Scheme Trustees Limited
