The latest economic forecasts issued by the Scottish Fiscal Commission (SFC) revealed a forecast deficit in the Scottish Budget over the next three years of £1.025bn. As a result, the Scottish Government will have some difficult decisions to make. Will it activate austerity measures and cut back on spending or seek to raise revenues by increasing taxes?
