As hospitality returns, Britain’s managed pub and restaurant groups saw like-for-like sales 26 per cent below April 2019, latest data from the Coffer CGA Business Tracker show. Pubs drew on outside space to outperform restaurants but still pubs’ April 2021 sales were 21 per cent down, compared to a 30 per cent drop for restaurants.
