Alex is a corporate finance director in RSM’s due diligence team, specialising in both UK and cross-border transactions advising corporate and private equity clients. Sectors of focus include events management, software and manufacturing.
Phil is a tax director focussed on UK and international tax, with over 20 years’ experience, mainly within the Big 4 and in industry.
Paul is a financial due diligence partner with a broad range of buy and sell-side experience working with private equity houses, corporates and banks. His sector focus includes media and technology, financial services and professional practices.
John is a partner in the transaction services team in London with a focus on private equity and divestiture advisory. He has deep experience of complex financial carve-outs and transactions in the technology, travel, industrials and business services sectors.
Alex is a Partner in the Transaction Services team based in the Thames Valley (Reading office) leading a team of professionals focused on buyside due diligence for corporates and private equity clients as well as vendor due diligence in support of sale transactions.

Partner, Co-Head of Financial Services
Peter co-leads RSM’s UK financial services sector. The FS sector has expertise in private equity, asset and hedge fund management, insurance, banking and fintech: services include audit, tax, corporate finance, restructuring, outsourcing, risk, regulation and internal audit. Peter himself has spent thirty seven years in and advising the London and global insurance market and delivers client engagements in corporate finance, strategy, regulation and governance.
Sheena is a partner is RSM’s corporate tax team and has over 20 years’ experience in advising companies on their tax affairs. Her work encompasses all aspects of managing the tax life cycle of companies, from due diligence and tax efficient structuring on acquisition, managing the tax filing obligations and ongoing tax advice all the way through to divestment preparation and readiness.
Robert was previously a Head of Tax working in the motor retail sector and regional head of tax for a FTSE 100 business media group.

On 16 May 2018, over 70 people from the travel industry arrived at RSM HQ for the first ever ABTA M&A Conference. The event provided us and the other delegates with the opportunity to hear from a range of speakers on different topics focussed on mergers and acquisitions in the travel and tourism sector.
