Britain’s managed pub and restaurant groups saw collective like-for-like sales increase just 0.3 per cent in February against the same month last year, according to latest figures from the Coffer Peach Business Tracker - with pubs trading strongly, but restaurants moving backwards.

Focus on pay in the education sector has increased significantly in recent years. As well as more general legislation bringing in gender pay gap reporting, levels of executive pay for universities have been hitting the headlines and ministers have asked academies to justify salaries of over £150,000.
