About Sushant Patra

Sushant Patra is a specialist in advanced credit risk analytics and regulatory compliance across the US, UK, and EU, with over 13 years of experience at a Big Four firm. He advises leading financial institutions on credit data management and the end to end development, validation, monitoring, and implementation of IFRS 9, Internal Ratings Based (IRB), stress testing, and credit decisioning scorecard models.

His experience also includes designing and embedding model risk management frameworks and delivering advanced analytics and marketing models, such as cross sell and up sell solutions. Sushant has led high performing teams delivering complex engagements across retail and wholesale portfolios for global and challenger banks, building societies, and embedded finance providers.

Prior to joining RSM, Sushant worked in Big 4 for 12 years across US, UK and Ireland. Sushant has Master’s Degree in Statistics. Holds Financial Risk Management (FRM), Sustainability & Climate Risk (SCR), Risk and Artificial Intelligence (RAI) Certification from GARP.
