Stephanie is head of further education and skills and Academies at RSM, having worked in the sector for over 25 years. She advises and works with the funding body, FE colleges, independent training providers, charities and academies.
Stephanie is well-known in the Further Education sector having held public appointments and worked for the funding body and regulator as well as advising colleges, providers and sector bodies. She takes pride in being regarded as part of the sector since 1993, adding academies in recent years.
Stephanie leads RSM’s strategy for engagement with the sector, represents RSM at external events speaking on many topics and also work directly with clients.
She develops new products and services and once they are embedded in our offering hand them over to colleagues to run with.
Stephanie was a regional finance director at the funding body and use that experience to advise clients. The projects she has been part of include funding assurance (developing approach and delivery), merger and collaboration advice, governance, risk management.
I care about the education sector and work with sector bodies to provide advice and guidance and propose alternatives when policies are not achieving desired outcomes. I enjoy a technical challenge, developing new products and services for others to take forward.
In addition to her role at RSM, Stephanie is an executive PhD student at Bayes Business School (formerly Cass) researching The Governance of English FE Colleges. This follows her MSc in charity accounting and financial management at Cass Business School, gained in 2013. Her Masters' dissertation looked at aspects of college mergers, including the role of governors.
