Sheila is a Partner and our national Technology Risk Assurance lead. Sheila has over 26 years’ experience in technology risk, and works across a variety of sectors and clients, from large global corporates to middle market clients across all sectors, and major central government organisations. Throughout her career Sheila has undertaken industry secondments and Head of Internal Audit and Risk roles. She is also the UK lead for RSM’s global cyber task force which includes representation from a number of member firms.

Sheila’s RSM journey began in 2005, when she joined from an RSM predecessor firm as an Associate Director specialising in IT audit. She became a Partner in 2007 and, after a brief spell away from the firm in 2014/15, Sheila returned to the RSM fold in September 2015 to lead our national Technology Risk Assurance offering.

When asked what she enjoys most about her role, Sheila says:

I love the fact that we are a truly collaborative business and we always put our clients and people first. No day is the same at RSM, every day brings a new challenge and with that comes variety and the opportunity to get involved in so many exciting initiatives, both locally and internationally.

Away from work, Sheila has previously undertaken the role of Non-Executive Member of the Board of Trustees at the Rugby Football Foundation. In her spare time, she can often be found exploring her passion for modern art and interior design and planning her next travel adventure. Sheila’s two teenage children also ensure that she has little time to get bored!
