About Shaun Black
Shaun Black currently sits within the Tracker team, part of the Creditor Solutions division, which primarily provides services to clients powered by our comprehensive UK business database.
Our Tracker-powered solutions provide proven risk-based solutions from onboarding customers or suppliers to ongoing monitoring, as well as developing bespoke marketing lists.
Shaun leads a dedicated reporting team that delivers a range of internal and external reporting solutions such as portfolio data cleanses, portfolio risk dashboards and directorship cleansing.
With over 15 years of reporting experience across numerous sectors, Shaun holds several reporting qualifications across a variety of platforms and reporting products.
His background in customer service complements his technical skills, enabling him to provide non-technical, easy-to-digest reporting solutions.
Asked about his most important skill, Shaun says:
'Listening is often underrated. In my experience I've found that listening is quite often an underused skill but critically important in my line of work. Although I may risk initially coming across quiet or shy, I feel listening is key to understanding reporting requirements, building a full end-to-end picture to help develop as well as suggest meaningful improvements to processes and reports. Whilst there may be few perfect things in life, we can all strive for perfection, and I thoroughly enjoy this challenge!'
Outside of work, Shaun’s main interests are sports and cooking. As a father of three young children, he spends most of his time feeding his growing family and attempting to keep up with their boundless energy during playtime.
