Sharon Monteith

Biography

Sharon is a Director in the Accounting and Business Advisory team with over 20 years experience working collaboratively with business owners, trustees/governors, and finance directors assisting them with their accounting and financial reporting needs.

Sharon works across both the commercial and not-for-profit sectors and has in depth knowledge of the accounting requirements of UK GAAP, Charity SORP, FE & HE SORP and both the College and Academies Accounts Direction. Sharon helps our UK GAPP and charity and education clients with a multitude of requirements including statutory financial reporting, advising on the accounting implications of non-routine transactions, management information, assistance for finance departments looking to upskill their team and providing training sessions/seminars to Trustees and senior management of not for profit entities.

Outside of RSM, Sharon acts, in a voluntary capacity, as a Trustee on the Board of a multi academy trust.
