Biography
Ruth’s role within the Accounting and Business Advisory function, involves delivering advisory services, insights and accounting solutions for mid-market clients. She harnesses new technology offerings to facilitate client relationships, helping them become more informed, more successful and ultimately more profitable.
Based at RSM’s Leicester office, Ruth supports clients throughout the East Midlands region. She brings over 25 years’ experience of advising owner managed and SME businesses, having previously held several director positions within the accountancy profession.
Her focus is on building the accounting, insight and advisory offering, bringing new digital solutions to our RSM offering and our SME client base. Ruth is passionate about finding innovative solutions to improve our clients’ and our own business.
When asked about why she enjoys her role, she says:

Both FCCA and CTA qualified, Ruth has delivered an SME advisory programme, gained key industry experience via some interesting secondments, worked on fraud related cases within a tax investigations environment, and acted as an expert witness for entrepreneurial businesses within matrimonial disputes.
For the last eight years she has been developing services to the SME market based around cloud accounting, advisory solutions and business insight.
