Biography
Rob is a risk advisory partner and leads RSM’s financial services internal audit and assurance offering in London and the South East. He is a financial services sector expert, with a particular focus on investment banking, client money and assets (CASS), capital markets, securities, exchanges, private wealth and retail banking.
Rob is a KPMG-qualified Chartered Accountant and brings some 30 years’ experience in providing external audit services, fully outsourced and co-sourced internal audit services, and IT audit services to the financial services sector.
He joined RSM from having spent 11 years at Grant Thornton and has previously worked at various banks and financial services organisations, including Citi, Gulf International Bank and Merrill Lynch.
Rob has significant experience advising financial services clients on regulatory and compliance matters. He previously led Grant Thornton’s Business Risk Services CASS team, and has considerable CASS expertise, including providing advice on how to set up internal audit's approach to the audit of CASS at several major banks.
