Biography
Rob has over 18 years' experience in Risk Assurance and is based in Nottingham. He oversees the risk assurance teams in Leeds, Nottingham and Newcastle, and deliver risk assurance services to those regions, and wider regions where requested. The team provides a range of internal audit services across the corporate, public sector, charities and financial services markets including; outsourced and co-sourced internal audit, secondments, internal audit effectiveness reviews and, audit & controls software. Rob's qualifications include ACMA, CMIIA, QIAL & CIA.
When asked what gets him out of bed, Rob says:
“Redbull and coffee. But apart from that, knowing that our work makes a real difference to our clients. The variety of clients, sectors that we work in and the diversity of people we see, and work with daily, keeps the job fresh and interesting. Add in the fact that no two days are ever the same, which creates a continues opportunity for learning and sharpening up your own personal skills set are good reasons and motivation to get out of bed in the morning.”
Outside of work, Rob has a keen interest in fitness and sport, and can be found in the gym or out running most days of the week. He is also known for his holidays, and will get away travelling either in the UK or abroad at every opportunity possible.
