Biography
Richard is a Director based in our Leeds office with over 20 years experience in corporate tax and is a member of ICAEW and CIOT.
He is a member of RSM's R&D specialist group and his areas of specialism include corporate reconstructions. EIS and SEIS, and R&D tax relief.
When asked about why he enjoys his job, he says:
“In my role, I get a to assist a variety of clients to navigate the complexity of tax. However a real highlight is in relation to R&D tax credits where I get to discuss the work companies are doing at the ‘cutting edge’.”
Outside of work he is a keen cyclist (all disciplines: road, cyclocross and mountain biking). He also enjoy motorcycling and is a perennial visitor to the Isle of Man TT.
