Biography
Richard provides restructuring advice to find optimum solutions for companies and stakeholders across a range of sectors and situations. Richard’s clients range from companies, investors, pensions schemes, banks and asset based lenders.

Richard joined RSM in 2010. He is a Chartered Management Accountant who qualified in 2002 and entered the Restructuring profession from an industry background in 2006. He spent a year on secondment to a High Street Bank’s commercial finance team managing risk and chairs the Turnaround Management Association for Yorkshire.
Over a 16 year career in Restructuring Richard has advised pension schemes through transactions; supported companies with forecasting; managed accelerated business sales; provided in depth review of businesses and supported companies and their lenders through financial distress. He qualified JIEB (Corporate) in 2019.
Outside of work Richard loves spending time with his wife and four sons. He relaxes by trail running, cycling with friends and swimming at his local club.
