Richard is a market-facing client relationship and business advisory partner in RSM's media and technology team. He works across multiple technology verticals, all of which have IP at the heart. He has a passion for MediaTech and in 2021, set up RSM's National Interactive Entertainment (video games and e-sports) group. Richard’s focus is on the middle market, advising high-growth businesses and taking a holistic approach beyond just the financials. This includes early-stage companies with venture capital funding and more established international groups that are listed or have private equity backing.
Due to his breadth of experience and extensive network of contacts, Richard is always happy to meet people and businesses of any size and advise on how RSM can help.
Previous career experience
In his early years, Richard worked for the Big Four and was embedded in the telecoms industry. He worked with some of the largest global mobile, fixed and infrastructure businesses. He also dealt with some of the world’s major film groups and media agencies, where he led audits and managed due diligence (DD) assignments and high profile IPOs.
Life outside of work
Richard is a life-long competitive runner and road cyclist, and for the last 13 years, a passionate triathlete and Ironman. He also loves skiing.
