Rachel heads the corporate and partnerships team at RSM Legal LLP, and advises on all aspects of governance and financial structuring, reorganisations, acquisitions and mergers for UK companies and businesses structured as LLPs and partnerships. Clients include owner managed businesses, professional practices, and fund managers. Rachel and the corporate and partnership team work closely with the leading tax advisors at RSM to provide an integrated and holistic legal, accounting and tax service to clients in the mid-market and professional practices sector.

Rachel joined RSM Legal LLP as a partner in April 2017. Previously, she was founder partner at boutique partnership and regulatory firm Khiara Law LLP, prior to which she was a partner at Addleshaw Goddard LLP and counsel at Allen & Overy LLP. 

Rachel is a solicitor with 19 years’ experience in the LLP and partnerships sector.

Rachel is also a member of The Law Society, Association of Partnership Practitioners, and Society of Trusts and Estates Practitioners (STEP).

She sits on the Solicitors Regulation Authority’s industry group for multi-disciplinary practices and is a board member of the Legal Compliance Association. Rachel is actively engaged on the lecture circuit, including as a guest speaker at the ICAEW Solicitors Group Conference and the SRA’s Annual Innovation Conference, and contributes to industry specific publications.
