About Phil Gale
Phil Gale is a consulting partner specialising in finance function support and outsourcing. He provides outsourced finance and management accounting, payroll, and HR solutions to clients across multiple sectors, both in the UK and internationally, including energy and natural resources and large and/or complex businesses.
Phil joined RSM as a graduate in 1997, working in various teams, including audit, accounting and outsourcing, achieving ACA qualification and membership to The Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales (ICAEW).
In his early career, Phil gained experience in diverse industries such as real estate, manufacturing, haulage,
financial services and professional services. This broad knowledge allowed him to specialise in large and complex businesses across various sectors.
He was an audit and outsourcing authorised individual until 2007, when he fully specialised on outsourcing.
Since 2007, Phil has predominately worked with global businesses requiring support in multiple countries and is therefore well-connected with the RSM international member firms worldwide.
“I have always enjoyed helping people and solving problems. My role at RSM allows me to combine these two passions by helping my clients resolve complex issues. I think outside the box to generate new ideas while also ensuring all standard best practices and processes are followed. My aim is to bring tailored, reliable, and innovative solutions to my clients, reducing risk, increasing cost-effectiveness, and improving back-office efficiency, thus enabling our clients to focus on what's important to them: their business!”
Outside of work, Phil has a personal passion for renewables and energy. His household has used electric-only cars for over four years and features solar panels, battery storage, and more! He’s also a sports fan, with a collection of memorabilia signed by famous stars from both the past and present.
