Biography

Paul is a partner in the restructuring advisory team in Edinburgh and leads the RA team in Scotland.

He has worked with clients in distress for over 30 years, spanning three key financial centres in Sydney, London and Edinburgh. He works with key business stakeholders and managers of underperforming businesses experiencing financial difficulties. Paul aims to restore businesses to profitability while avoiding insolvency where appropriate. He has been fortunate enough to work on international projects in the Caribbean and the US.

Paul leads the employer covenant services team in Scotland, providing independent covenant reviews to pension scheme trustees and employers, including leading the negotiation of appropriate recovery plans.

He is a licensed insolvency  practitioner and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants (ICAS), Scotland and the Certified Practising Accountants (CPA) in Australia.

Outside of work, Paul is an avid cricketer, playing in leagues across Scotland. He enjoys relaxing long dog walks in the countryside.
