Nichola helps our clients to develop and mature their ESG strategies and performance, as well as their overall management of ESG-related risks and opportunities using our maturity framework and materiality assessment methodology. Data analysis is a crucial element of her work. She has supported SMEs and large businesses in industries such as manufacturing, transport, marketing, healthcare, membership organisations, and social housing.

She helps our clients find bespoke solutions, because she believes ESG empowers all sectors to work towards common goals. Nichola considers consolidating different stakeholders’ priorities and drivers to be key.

She assists clients in identifying the exciting opportunities that ESG presents to build resilience, for example, through securing funding and strengthening reputation and consumer loyalty.

Before joining the ESG team, Nichola worked in RSM UK’s Restructuring Advisory business for two years, where she gained valuable experience in the financial and operational challenges businesses can face, and obtained an ICAEW Certificate in Finance, Accounting and Business.

She graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Psychology in 2019, with a focus on data analysis and research, ethics, mental health, and risk judgment in behavioural economics. Alongside her studies, she participated in several sustainability and human rights initiatives and projects.

Nichola says:

"Helping people has always given me the strongest sense of purpose. I believe we all have an important role in securing a more sustainable future for the planet and its people on an individual and collective level. For me, working in ESG has brought about a real alignment between my personal values and my work, which is why I’m invested in helping organisations of all sizes to operate responsibly and with purpose."

Outside of work, Nichola enjoys making music, spending time with family and friends, and finding new vegan junk food to try. She also enjoys meditation, listening to podcasts, and finding opportunities to keep learning.
