Biography
Mike has more than 30 years’ experience in providing risk assurance services to a wide range of public and private sector organisations. Looking after some of our high profile clients, Mike delivers a comprehensive, focused and added value internal audit service. Additionally Mike has overall responsibility for our specialist assurance services in the areas of technology assurance and financial services compliance and assurance.
Mike started his career in the public sector (local government) holding a variety of audit/finance roles. Mike joined the firm in 1990, qualified in 1992 and became a partner in 1997. During his time with the firm Mike has provided internal audit and associated services to a wide range of clients including education, social housing, charities, central government and health. Mike advises his clients on risk management, assurance, internal control and governance.
Mike now specialises in health, social housing and central government. In 1999 Mike founded our counter fraud service providing anti-fraud services to the NHS.
