About Matthew Rose
Matthew Rose is a partner, specialising in monitoring trustee services.
Prior to joining RSM, Matthew was a solicitor in an international U.S. law firm. He has more than 12 years' experience advising on UK and EU competition and regulatory law, acting for clients across a broad range of industry sectors including software and technology, telecommunications, energy, life sciences, and defence.
Matthew has expertise in advising on regulatory aspects of complex transactional work, working closely with regulators including the Competition and Markets Authority and the European Commission on merger control matters, as well as advising on the UK’s national security regime.
During his legal career, Matthew undertook an eight-month secondment at the Office of Fair Trading (the UK competition regulator, now the Competition and Markets Authority) during which he provided legal advice on several competition enforcement cases.
