When asked why he is passionate about his job, Mark says:

"I absolutely love what I do. I have a brilliant team who are like my extended family, my role is diverse and immensely rewarding. Ultimately our role is to ensure funds provided by donors to the very poorest and disadvantaged in society (who do not have access to structured safeguards) benefit in the way the donor indicated, minimising funding loss and improving control systems. The work is so diverse we have fraud risk assessed the supply chains into Syria and Yemen for a major UN body, support the auditor general on the largest ever investigation in Malawi and counted goats in Zimbabwe!"

Anyone who knows Mark will know he loves Land Rovers, recently importing one he ‘came across’ on assignment in Sierra Leone.
