Mark leads a team of restructuring professionals across the South West and Wales, who assist clients to successfully navigate challenging financial situations, often where rapid practical action and change is required. He works closely with the directors and stakeholders in these businesses to help stabilise and restore value.

Mark provides a range of advisory services and has a particular focus on cash flow management and improvement. Companies require cash to maintain competitiveness and fuel future growth strategies. If a company runs out of cash, it will experience financial distress or even failure. Mark helps clients to understand, forecast and improve their working capital, optimising their cash flows and minimising the amounts tied up in operations. Working alongside our corporate finance, debt advisory and Asset Based Lending teams, he can help source debt solutions to further stabilise a company’s position or fund future growth strategies.

As well as managing stakeholder groups, selling businesses and overseeing formal insolvency appointments, Mark advises pension trustees and employers on the strength of employer Covenant and other matters where there is a pension scheme deficit or issue that requires interaction with The Pension Regulator.

During his career, Mark has undertaken secondments to Bibby Financial Services and the Large Corporate Structuring and Syndications team at Lloyds Bank Commercial Finance and therefore has a deep understanding of the requirements of banks and asset-based lenders and other key stakeholders (including private equity houses).
