About Marc Marrero

Marc Marrero is a Data Protection Officer and senior privacy operations professional with experience helping small and mid-sized firms across the financial services industry responsibly use data and AI. Marc helps firms respond to regulatory change and transform their culture around data protection and privacy.

Marc has advised some of the largest financial services firms and insurers in Europe and the Americas on data protection and sovereignty leadership, privacy operations and the responsible use of AI and data. He has led GDPR programmes and acted as Data Protection Officer for businesses operating across Europe and the US.

Working across compliance, IT, HR, risk, legal and operations, Marc has led complex programmes that translate regulatory change into practical improvements in culture, governance and operating models.
