About Louise Rudd

Louise is a Consulting Partner in RSM’s Finance Function Support solution, acting as an extension of her clients’ finance team by providing the skills, knowledge and time they need to thrive. She specialises in supporting businesses throughout the private equity lifecycle, whether navigating their first deal or their seventh, and partners closely with finance teams as they adapt to the evolving demands of PE ownership.

With a deep understanding of the pressures and pace of change that come with private equity investment, Louise works alongside clients to strengthen finance capability, enhance reporting and build resilience as the business grows and transforms.

Louise joined RSM in 2022 following 14 years with a Big Four firm, where she focused on private equity–backed and large private business audit. Her extensive experience across complex financial environments gives her a strong technical foundation and a pragmatic, commercially minded approach.

“What I love most about my work is partnering with people, getting to know my clients, understanding their businesses and the strategy behind them. Every organisation has its quirks and learning them is half the fun. The best part of my job is adding value to their journey, even if it sometimes means helping make sense of the spreadsheets nobody else wants to open.”

Outside of work, Louise enjoys travelling and exploring new places with her other half, always seeking out new experiences and perspectives.
